Operation Theatre 5
Operation Theatre 5 is a charity musical production by the students of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore. It is the 5th mass student production that sees students from across 5 batches in the medical faculty coming together to put up a performance for a good cause. The beneficiary for the production is HCA Hospice, a palliative care provider in Singapore. The show is on 19-20 September 2014 at the Kallang Theatre. Tickets start at $25. This year also marks an exciting milestone in the development of Operation Theatre. Held on a grander stage than ever before, having the boldest script and most complex production, OT5 promises to be the most ambitious iteration yet.

Synopsis:
Set in the land of the rising sun, OT5 is the tale of a man seeking to honor his family by finishing the quest his dying father bestows upon him - a journey that will take him to the mysterious wall at the edge of the world - and beyond. This is a story of courage, friendship, betrayal, romance, prophecy, and the slightest hint of space opera. Join us as our hero discovers more about the origin of his world, the Great War that came before, and the truth about the mystical spirits that inhabit his world. Be prepared for unexpected revelations, love in a foreign land, and a stunning conclusion.
